At PRBC we love to get our hands dirty! We have a great group of men and woman that love to do missions work. We have so many different opportunities to serve whether that be locally or nationally. We partner with local organizations in Henderson, NC called Rebuilding Hope and Stone's Throw Christian Ministries in Elkin, NC. We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus!
We have a fully equiped recovery relief trailor that is ready to be deployed wherever a natural disaster may accure. We have gone to locations like New Jersey for Hurricane Sandy, West Virginia for water relief and other local recovery efforts.
Pleasant Ridge partners with Rebuilding Hope Inc. in Henderson, NC. Rebuilding Hope has a Youth Missions summer camp that our church attends every year. It is a week long camp in Henderson, NC that partners with local churches to rebuild roofs for people in need.
Once a month ladies from our church cook a meal at a local woman's shelter called The Ark. It is an opportunity for the ladies of Pleasant Ridge to share a Bible Study and a meal with woman in our area and talk about what Christ has done in their lives.
